Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Mobility

About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and routine patrols while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report access-control concerns or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

$18.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
