About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, exterior areas, loading zones, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points, receiving areas, and high-traffic locations in accordance with site procedures to support an orderly shopping environment.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
