Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Bossier City, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while documenting security-related activity using computer or tablet tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Day Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
