Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of assigned duties, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options through our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials when assigned, and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding personnel regarding incidents and observed conditions.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday availability required
