About the role
As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Driver at a financial institution in Tampa, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe the premises for security-related concerns, following site procedures for visitor management and access control.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations according to site procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
