About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer Part Time Courtesy Patrol Driver in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, students, faculty, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$16.33 / hour

• Daytime
• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
