As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, perimeter, access points, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Maintain access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
