Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction-adjacent industrial work areas, perimeter points, parking areas, access gates, and/or other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures, including verifying authorized access and directing individuals to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
