Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol

About the role
As a Part-Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Security Officer in Chesapeake, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a driving Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate common areas, building interiors, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious behavior, property conditions, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
Pay
$18.21 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shift: Saturday 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM
- Sunday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
