Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements; assist with directing guests and verifying authorization when applicable.
- Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
