Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Coverage

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location in Atlanta, GA. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Document incidents and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to store management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
