Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Coverage

About the Role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic retail location in Tampa, FL. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist customers and store personnel, and communicate clearly with your team. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, allowing you to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, retail location policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspected theft, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.00 / Hour

• Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
