Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and exterior perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
