Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Site Inspection

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with residents and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unauthorized entry attempts and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
