Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain required visitor records, and support established access-control procedures for critical facility areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related risks.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and support a professional environment for all personnel and visitors.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$20.73 - $21.73 / Hour
