About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns and using technology to document activity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, lobbies, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
  • Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.00 / Hour

Schedule

  • Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
