About the role
As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns and using technology to document activity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, lobbies, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$19.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
