Security Officer - Part Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Reconciliation

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Crystal City, VA, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, manage access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and completing required reports.
• Support a professional workplace environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and adherence to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Perform badge reconciliation and access control duties as required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$21.75 / hour

• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
