Security Officer - Part Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Reconciliation

Allied Universal is seeking a Part‑Time Unarmed Security Officer for credential reconciliation in Ashburn, VA. The role involves safeguarding clients in technology, media, and telecommunications environments, providing customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and carry out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, data hall exterior areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization according to site‑specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities accurately and promptly, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Guard card or license (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$23.36 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Saturday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Sunday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
