Security Officer - Part Time Unarmed Patrol

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. The pay rate is $14.00 per hour, and the job schedule is daytime, Monday, 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, visitor and contractor activity, deliveries, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
