Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driving Role

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transit location in Milwaukee, WI, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit riders, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and surrounding perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, transit personnel, and emergency responders regarding security-related incidents and observations.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$19.45 / Hour

• Daytime
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
