As a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer on a driving patrol post in Miami Lakes, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accurate daily activity reports.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (required for driving positions).
• Guard card or license preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Thursday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Friday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM
