Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Community

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location in Boca Raton, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate clearly, report concerns, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with residential community procedures, documenting relevant observations and incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 08:00 PM
