Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Boundary Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. You will report observations, respond to concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
