Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
• Support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, documenting patrol observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Security-related license (state, county, or city).
