Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established location procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to store management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while providing professional assistance and directions to shoppers and visitors.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
