Security Officer Part Time - Swing Shift

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part‑Time Security Officer (Swing Shift) in Redmond, WA to serve and safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial settings. The position offers flexible scheduling through the “Claim a Shift” platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a biologics manufacturing location, following security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials per site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security‑related hazards to site leadership to support a professional, orderly environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Possess any required licensing per state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$24.75 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime swing shift: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
