Security Officer Part Time Screening Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and customer expectations at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through the appropriate chain of command.
• Monitor entry points, loading areas, and/or screening stations to help support orderly traffic flow and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity for follow-up.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
