As a Screener at an automotive location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents through a visible, professional presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and authorized items entering and exiting the automotive manufacturing location in accordance with established procedures.
• Verify access credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation; direct guests to appropriate check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, screening areas, and surrounding business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
