Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial retail and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and outbound materials in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
