Security Officer Part Time Reception Alarm Monitoring

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier commercial real estate location in San Francisco, CA, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access control and badge processes, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service. Your professional presence and clear communication will help support a secure, welcoming environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to requests in a professional manner.
• Monitor access to the commercial office location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or authorization, and maintaining visitor records as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Monitor front desk communications, receive and direct calls, and maintain clear, accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Support a professional lobby environment by observing entry activity and reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns to designated personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$28.45 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shifts: Saturday 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Day shifts: Sunday 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
