As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Tours in Orangeburg, NY, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the option to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings and experience.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be assigned a designated site and weekly shift, requiring a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Flexibility allows you to scale hours up to 40 per week or scale back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by observing and reporting policy violations, facility concerns, and security-related issues in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.25 - $21.25 / hour

Schedule

Day Shift (Saturday): 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
