Security Officer Part Time Patrol Rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including parking areas, loading and unloading zones, trailer yards, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or shipping and receiving areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic flow, and observe activity related to deliveries and departures.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
