Security Officer Part Time Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other controlled access points, verifying credentials and/or visitor information in accordance with site protocols and regulatory expectations.
• Support day-to-day operations by preparing incident reports, noting maintenance or environmental concerns, and following post orders related to security-related activity and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
