Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to verify authorized entry, provide directions, and report security-related concerns in accordance with site expectations.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation, following post orders, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or local personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
