Security Officer Part Time Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assisting with visitor access, credential checks, and policy compliance in support of daily building operations.
• Report suspicious activity, hazards, and unusual conditions, and follow post orders for escalations, notifications, and other security-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Guard card and/or license (preferred).
• Loss prevention experience (preferred).

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.70 / Hour

Schedule

Job Schedule: DayTime, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
