Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Carry out regular and random patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including public spaces, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Maintain order and support authorized access by monitoring entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Aid in crowd management, special events, and visitor flow by following post orders and helping to maintain orderly conditions throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
