Security Officer Part Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Oxford, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to enforce site rules for personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries entering or leaving the location.
• Complete routine reports, incident logs, and shift activity records, and communicate clearly with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related issues and/or post updates.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
