About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, members, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding observations, incidents, and operational needs.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.

$17.00 / Hour

- Day shift
- Saturday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Sunday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
