Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Aid visitors with directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence and completing required incident reports and daily activity documentation.
Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
