Security Officer Part Time Patrol Observation

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, team-oriented culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, building exteriors, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and vehicles, and report unauthorized activity or irregular conditions.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
