Job Description

As a Security Officer Part‑Time Patrol Driver in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as retail and malls. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, and responsive handling of security‑related concerns. Flexible scheduling is available through the “Claim a Shift” platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and common‑area locations, including entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver‑policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21 + years for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal‑history considerations will be evaluated consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state or local regulations.

Pay

$18.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime: Monday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM; Sunday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
