Security Officer Unarmed Part Time Patrol Driver

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Driver at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide courteous communication to patients, visitors, and staff. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$19.48 / Hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sunday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
