As a Security Officer Unarmed Part Time Incident Response Patrol Driver in Mount Laurel, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. As a Security Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations in accordance with established procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
