Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Tech/Media/Telecom, you will join a dynamic team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain access points and visitor activity in a technology and communications-focused location, assisting with badge verification, directional support, and reporting of access-related issues.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or local responders as needed regarding security-related concerns, operational disruptions, and incident updates.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
