What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery traffic in accordance with location procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and site management by communicating status updates, following post orders, and/or assisting with investigations related to security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
