Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with appropriate emergency response activities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor assigned areas for unauthorized access, policy violations, and other security-related concerns, and report observations in a timely manner.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, de-escalating tense situations when possible, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
