About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet tools as needed, you will support a welcoming environment while working with integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and emergency responders as needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

$17.63 / hour
Schedule
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
