About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This armed role offers the opportunity to apply your professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while helping create a welcoming, secure environment for employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, business areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activity.
- Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Requirements
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Day shift: Saturday 05:30 AM - 04:30 PM
- Day shift: Sunday 05:30 AM - 04:30 PM
