Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. - Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
- Support emergency response activities, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
