Security Officer Part Time Patrol Communications

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will serve customers by carrying out security-related procedures, responding to incidents, monitoring access, and assisting employees, visitors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Security Guard License.

• Computer or tablet skills.

DayTime: Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
